At 18, I won a lottery fortune and wasted my 20s in idleness. Now at 28 with no career or hobbies, I feel lost and uncertain about my future.
Hey LeapingFrog,
I totally get how you feel. Life can sort of sneak up on you, and sometimes it takes a rough patch to really have a moment of clarity about what you want and what can make you happy. I think it’s never too late to try something new or to explore what really brings you joy. Maybe give yourself some time to experiment with different activities or even talk to a career coach—sometimes a little outside perspective can ignite a spark you didn’t even know was there.
Remember, it’s your journey and you have plenty of time to figure things out, no matter what your past looked like. Keep your head up, and trust that you’ll find a path that feels right for you. Cheers to new beginnings!
