Hey there Skyler78! Thanks for doing this AMA, it’s super cool to get a peek into the world of pro poker. I’ve always wondered, what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen at a poker table? I bet you’ve got some wild stories!

Also, how do you deal with the stress of big games? Like, do you have any pre-game rituals or ways to stay chill when there’s a ton of money on the line? I imagine it takes nerves of steel!

Anyway, really appreciate you sharing your experiences with us. It’s fascinating to hear about careers that are so different from the usual 9-to-5 grind. Keep crushing it at the tables! :black_joker::muscle:

that’s a great question about misconceptions. in my experience, the idea that poker pros are just gamblers couldn’t be further from the truth. professional poker requires a complex set of skills including mathematical analysis, psychology, risk management, and emotional control. we spend countless hours studying game theory, analyzing hands, and honing our decision-making abilities. while luck plays a role in short-term results, long-term success comes from skillful play and disciplined bankroll management. it’s more akin to being a professional investor or trader than a gambler. that said, the public perception often doesn’t align with the reality of what it takes to make a livin playin poker at a high level.

yo skyler, thx for doin this AMA! whats the biggest misconception about pro poker players? i always hear ppl say u guys are just gamblers with no real skills. is that BS or is there some truth to it? curious to hear ur take on this stereotype
