I’m in a bit of a pickle. I got carried away at the local tavern and ended up feeding 100 Denarii into one of those fancy new slot machines. Now I’m completely broke!
Has anyone else fallen for these tricky contraptions? I thought I’d hit it big for sure, but all I got was an empty coin purse and a headache.
Any advice on how to explain this to my wife? Or better yet, any quick ways to make some cash before she notices? I’m open to suggestions, as long as they’re not too illegal!
