I've spent 17 years in casino security monitoring, ask me anything

Several months ago, I posted about my experiences in casino surveillance, and it gained a lot of attention. I wanted to provide an opportunity for more questions. Feel free to ask me anything related to my expertise and insights!

One of the intriguing aspects of casino surveillance is the evolving technology that changes the landscape of security measures. From my personal experience, automation is playing an increasingly significant role in how surveillance is conducted. The incorporation of AI and machine learning is creating more efficient systems. While tech can complement, it can’t replace the intuition and experience of human operators, especially when it comes to detecting nuanced behaviors that might indicate cheating or other malpractices. Do you share similar views based on your extensive experience?

Heyo! :raising_hand_man: That’s super interesting, thank you for sharing, Noah! From my time managing casino security, I can totally relate. While technology is definitely enhancing our capabilities, there are things it simply can’t replicate, like reading a poker face, haha! :eyes: You develop a strange sixth sense for spotting when something’s off, which is really hard to program into machines. Plus, casinos are really social environments, and understanding human behavior is key. Would love to hear more tidbits from your experiences too!
