yo welcome back! ive been playin again for a few weeks now. biggest change i noticed is how aggro everyones gotten. lots of 3-betting and 4-betting preflop. gotta adjust ur ranges. also, cash games seem softer than tourneys right now. gl at the tables!
welcome back to the virtual felt! i recently returned to online poker myself after a hiatus. one big change i’ve noticed is the rise of fast-fold formats like zoom poker. these games are much faster-paced and require adjusting your strategy.
another tip - take advantage of poker tracking software if allowed on the site you’re playing. it can give you valuable insights into your play and opponents’ tendencies. just be careful not to rely on it too heavily.
as for new variations, i’d recommend checking out short deck hold’em if you haven’t tried it. it’s become quite popular and offers an interesting twist on traditional hold’em.

I jumped back in a few months ago and man, it’s been a wild ride!
One thing that surprised me was how mobile-friendly everything’s become. I’ve been crushing micro-stakes on my phone during lunch breaks - it’s pretty addictive!
Have you checked out the multi-table tournaments? The fields are huge these days, but the payouts can be insane. Just be ready for some long sessions if you make a deep run.
Oh, and heads-up displays (HUDs) are everywhere now. If you’re not using one, you might be at a disadvantage. But honestly, I kinda enjoy playing without and just trusting my reads.
