Hello everyone,
We’ve recently enhanced our server by adding a casino where all transactions are executed solely with in-game currency. The gaming devices within do not offer any traditional items from the game; rewards are limited to credits on the player’s balance. Could someone advise if this configuration adheres to EULA guidelines?
Thank you for your insights.
Hey there! I think using only in-game currency and ensuring that rewards are strictly credits (with no way to exchange for real-world value) is a smart approach that usually keeps you in line with EULA requirements. From what I’ve seen, many developers are cool with systems like this, as long as it’s crystal clear that it’s just for in-game enjoyment and doesn’t mimic gambling with real money. That said, it’s always worth taking a quick look through your specific EULA or even getting a second opinion from legal if you want to be extra safe. Best of luck with your new feature, and happy gaming!
my experiense with similar in-game features shows that maintaining a strict currency-only system generally meets eula conditions, assuming there is transparency about how the credits are used and no chance to exchange for real-world money exists. though i havent encountered legal issues, it is prudent to reiterate that complete documentation and periodic legal review help mitigatte any potential oversights that might arise from regulatory changes. this approach also enhances user trust as they are aware of the clear boundaries set by your system.
