Are slot machine savings a good investment?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about putting money aside for the slot machine that gives daily caps. But I’m not sure if it’s a smart move.

It’ll take forever to save enough for a shot at winning it during the event. I’m clueless about how many caps it pays out each day. Is the payoff worth all that waiting and saving?

What do you think? Should I keep stashing away caps for this, or is there a better way to spend my time and resources? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tried this before or has some insight on the long-term benefits.

Has anyone actually won big from these machines? I’m worried I might regret it if I spend all this time saving up and then don’t win or the payout is tiny. Any advice would be super helpful!

Hey Noah_Waves!

I totally get where you’re coming from with the slot machine savings dilemma. It’s a tough call, right?

Honestly, I wouldn’t put all my eggs in that basket. Those machines can be pretty stingy, and the daily payouts are usually pretty small. I’ve seen friends save for ages and end up disappointed.

Instead, why not try diversifying a bit? Maybe put some caps into crafting or trading? Those tend to give more consistent returns in my experience. Plus, it’s way more fun than just watching a number go up slowly!

If you really wanna scratch that gambling itch, maybe set aside a small portion for the slots, but don’t go all in. That way, you’re not missing out completely, but you’re also not risking everything.

Just my two cents, but whatever you decide, hope it works out for ya! :four_leaf_clover:

nah mate, slot machines are a trap. i tried saving for ages and barely got anything back. better off investing in gear or supplies you’ll actually use. if you really wanna gamble, set a small budget and dont expect to win big. theres no easy money in the wasteland

i’ve been down that road before, noah_waves, and i can say from expeirence that saving for slot machine payouts isnt a solid investmnt. daily payouts are minimal and the likelihood of a big win is very low. in my experince, diversifying your caps into upgrading equipment or investing in crafting oppurtunities yields more consistent progress. if you do want to try your luck, set aside only a small chunk so you dont risk too much. smart resource management always trumps taking a gamble in the wasteland.
