Am I wrong for keeping my lottery fortune after being left out of a family vacation?

I was excluded from a trip and won a lottery prize. I then used my winnings independently despite my relatives’ demands to share, given past exclusions. Am I wrong?

i think you earned that money fair enough, if your fam never treated you right, u dont need to share. stick to your decision and learn from it tho, sometimes its smart to look out for ur own self.

Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from. It sucks feeling like you’re always left out and then hearing demands to share your winnings. Honestly, when you’ve been sidelined so much, it makes sense to hold on tight to what’s yours. Your lottery win is something you worked for (or fate delivered!) independently, and if it helps you secure a better future when you feel unappreciated by family, why not? Just maybe be ready for some nagging if things heat up – you know how families can be. Ultimately, you’re choosing what’s best for you and it sounds like you’re doing that. Stay happy and keep enjoying your success .

i understand the complexity of such situations. having once faced a similar rift with my family, i learned that protecting your financial gains is ultimately a personal decision. it wasnt about being stingy but about preserving independence and ensuring your future is secure. sometimes family ties become more burden than support, and it is okay to opt out when their expectations threaten your peace. ultimately, every case is different and sticking to choices that reinforce your well-being is a valid approach.
