Oh man, y’all are sleeping on Matilda from the Roald Dahl book! That little girl’s got telekinesis, remember? She could totally peek at everyone’s cards or even manipulate the deck without anyone noticing. Plus, she’s wicked smart for her age and has that innocent look that’d throw off the other players. They’d never suspect a kid!
I can just picture her sitting there, feet dangling off the chair, sipping apple juice while she cleans out a bunch of adults. Talk about an unexpected winner! And imagine the look on their faces when they realize they got hustled by a grade-schooler.

i’d put my money on sherlock holmes for this one. his powers of observation and deductin would give him a massive edge at the poker table. he’d be able to pick up on the tiniest tells and figure out exactly what cards everyone is holding. plus, he’s got that cool, calculatin demeanor that would make him unreadable to opponents. holmes could probably deduce the optimal strategy for each hand and outmaneuver even the craftiest players. the only wildcard might be if someone like tony stark showed up with some high-tech cheating device, but barring that, i think sherlock takes home the pot. his mind is basicaly a supercomputar when it comes to analyzing situatons like this.
nah, my moneys on tyrion lannister. dude’s a master manipulator and drinks like a fish. he’d get everyone drunk, read em like books, and bluff his way to victory. plus, he’s used to high stakes games in westeros. tyrion’s wit and cunning would run circles around most characters at the table
