As tempting as it might be to go wild, I’d try to keep a cool head on that first day. First order of business would be contacting a reputable lawyer to make sure everything’s in order legally. no point getting excited if there’s some catch, right? Then I’d probably hole up in a decent hotel room for a few days - nothing too flashy, just somewhere quiet to think things through. i’d be wary of telling anyone right away, even family. You never know how people might react to news like that. Instead, I’d use the time to research financial advisors and start planning how to manage the money responsibly. Maybe treat myself to a nice meal, but otherwise keep things low-key until i’ve got a solid plan in place. It’s a life-changing amount of money, after all. Gotta be smart about it.

I’d probably spend the first hour just staring at my bank account in disbelief, refreshing the page over and over. Then I’d call my best friend and be like, ‘Dude, you’re not gonna believe this…’
