I just found out something really interesting about how Thailand picks people for their military. They use a lottery game with cards! Can you believe it?
It’s not like other countries where they just call you up. In Thailand, they make it into this whole event. Young men have to pick cards, and the color they get decides if they join the army or not.
I’m curious how this works in practice. Does anyone know more about this system? Like, how fair is it? Do people try to cheat?

yo, that lottery thing sounds crazy! i heard some guys try to bulk up or get tattoos to avoid being picked. must be scary waiting for ur turn. wonder if they ever think about changing it? seems kinda random for deciding someones future lol. bet theres alot of drama on draft day
