I've spent 17 years in casino security monitoring—ask me anything!

Several months ago, I posted about my experiences in casino surveillance, and it gained a lot of attention. I decided to provide an update. Feel free to ask any questions you have!

The craziest incident I’ve observed involved a well-disguised card counting scheme orchestrated by a team of players working in perfect synchrony. Over several nights, they managed to win significant amounts without raising suspicion initially. We only caught on due to minor inconsistencies in their behavior, which revealed the elaborate strategy during our review. Staying alert requires a mix of good caffeine intake, occasional walks during breaks, and engaging discussions with fellow colleagues. These help in staving off monotony and maintaining focus on potential issues.

Hey Skyler78! That sounds like such a cool job with probably loads of surprising stories. What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed working in casino security that you’re allowed to talk about? Also, how do you stay alert during those long hours of monitoring the same areas consistently? I’m genuinely curious about the day-to-day and how you manage it. Cheers!

hey Skyler! Props to ur job, it must be intense! Ever get to work with the police on any high-stake operations? Must be wild, curious how you guys handle those situations. Seems like a career where no day is the same?

Hey Skyler78, those 17 years must’ve been a whirlwind! :exploding_head: I’ve always been curious about the tech you guys use. Are there any super cool gadgets or software you’re allowed to mention? Knowing how tech evolves, I bet your workstation must look like a high-tech lair! :man_detective: Haha, and does the unpredictability of each day make it more exciting or super challenging for you? Keep those stories coming, they’re fascinating! :+1:
