After relentless highs and painful lows, I’ve chosen to permanently exit poker’s dark grind. I seek peace over risk and regret.
my recent exit from the game resonated with many of my own exeperiences. the decision to leave behind such a high risk environment was not an easy one, but i ultimately found the stress and unpredictability outweighed any euphoria from wins. even though i enjoyed the challenge of mastering poker, the mental toll started to affect other areas of my life. by stepping away, i was able to rediscover other interests and focus on self care, which in the long run provided a steadier and healthier pathway.
